Abstract:
The present research investigated convective heat transfer and friction factor of Tio2 nanofluid in triangular duct. The experiments were conducted for slow flow regime and under the boundary condition of constant heat flux, and nanofluid was experimented in different viscosities and in different operating conditions. Convective heat transfer coefficient of nanofluid in different viscosities and Reynolds was obtained. Test results showed that by viscosity increase, convective heat transfer coefficient increases as well. Results were indicative of a good coordination between experimental and numerical data. Effects of viscosity, velocity and convective heat transfer coefficient were shown and in the end discussion was done.
