Abstract:
Ultrasonic phased array technology has a history of nearly 20 years. It was mainly used in the medical field in the early stage. Then with the rapid development of electronic technology and computer technology, ultrasonic phased array technology is gradually applied to industrial nondestructive testing, especially in the nuclear industry and aviation industry. In this paper, the conventional ultrasonic phased array detection technology is used to detect and inspect the through-hole damage of two typical structural weld seams and steel structures, and the conventional metal ultrasonic testing method is used for verification. Then rate each damage according to the plan "Non-destructive testing of welds, ultrasonic testing, acceptance level" (GB/T 29712-2013).
