Abstract:
In the event of a traffic accident, pedestrians are more vulnerable than other traffic participants and have a higher mortality rate in traffic accidents. In addition, compared to the pedestrian traffic awareness is weak, prone to illegal behavior. Therefore, it is imperative to carry out traffic safety education for pedestrians, to enhance pedestrian traffic safety awareness and pedestrian safety skills in mixed traffic flow. This article is based on the Windows platform, and combined with Kinect for Windows somatosensory equipment, a pedestrian traffic safety education system was developed. The system is mainly used to help participants learn pedestrians crossing the road sections or intersections of traffic regulations and safety knowledge, and warned pedestrians not to commit violations of traffic regulations
