Abstract:
Fault locating in distributed systems in presence of DGs is a new challenge. In this article new method is presented for fault locating in distribution system. This method uses recorded data by Phasor Measurement Units in the point of DG connection and source that is development of substitution method. The proposed method is evaluated for a sample distribution system for faults with different fault resistance in any part of the system. Simulation results were successful.
